Sticky Notes

I installed the free version a long time ago and loved it I put all my notes in just like the paper stickies and had them organized in folders BUT since the last update I cannot see anything but the top note I cannot access my other notes. The app now wants me to upgrade to a paid version?!?!
Why would I pay money when I cannot get any help from the developers since the last upgrade??? Not impressed anymore
